Rebecca Airies has never been HOTTER - Capturing Their Flame #PNR #Romance

Naomi Hardin heads into Gargoyle territory to see a play without a second thought. She never expected to run into any Gargoyles, much less two men who claim she’s their mate. She’s drawn to the two Gargoyles but will escape from them. Although they’re gorgeous, she has plans for her life, and they don’t include biologically chosen mates.

Neil Conrad and Isaac Phillips are thrilled to discover their mate at a theater. Although she’s not happy, she’s trespassed into Gargoyle territory and is fair game. They take her home to show her they belong together, but discover they’ve brought her right into the path of danger. Someone is targeting the Gargoyle. They must gain her trust and love while they learn to trust her, as well, because they’ll need her help against some of the attacks coming at them. They’ll have to face the trouble coming for them in order to claim her love and begin their life together.

Author Interview

At what point did you first consider yourself a writer?
I considered myself a writer even when I was jotting down poetry, bad songs, and some of my first attempts at fiction in my teens. It was the author tag that I never considered until I had something actually published
Do you have a specific writing style? In other words, are you a plotter or a pantser?
I’m a plotter now, but occasionally, I’ll still try to pants a book as long as it’s something I’m working on to the side of my other WIP. I like the freedom of pantsing, just letting the story flow. I don’t like the dead ends and restarts that I usually have with it though. That’s why I stick with plotting things out with the projects I consider important or urgent.
How did you come up with the titles to your book(s)?
Usually, the titles come while writing the book. Sometimes a specific phrase or concept will spark it. Occasionally, I come up with a title at the start during a the brainstorming before I begin drafting.
What books have most influenced your life most? (This can be professional or personal life influence)
Professionally, there have been two that have been more influential than others.
Stephen King’s On Writing and Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way.
What are you currently working on? Can you give us a sneak peek?
I’m working on two things right now. One is the second in the Stone Passions Series and the other is Penny’s Mates (working title), the third book related to the Georgia Whyr (not the actual series name. I haven’t settled on that yet.) Here’s a snippet of  Stone Passions II.
Dante stared at the woman sitting at the table with the Agali Callista Vincente and Callista’s brother, William Vincente.  He’d heard that introduce themselves to their woman, Moriah.  The name suited her, exotic and beautiful.
Moriah looked young.  By appearance, he thought she was about twenty three.  Golden hair hung just past her shoulders.  Although an apron covered her from chest to mid-thigh, the swell of her breasts and a curve of her hips provided ample evidence of her sweet figure.  She was theirs.
“You know I should slam your head right into this wall.  This is all because you had to go and say that the Fates loved you.  After a remark like that, the tricky witches had to do something to you.” Cael turned to glare at him.
Dante shook his head.  Cael had a point.  He should have known better than to play around with fate.  On the other hand, he never thought there was a chance in hell that their mate would be a Branal.  Relationships between gargoyles and the Branal were very rare.  With two female Branal known to be mates to other groups within their community, he had thought that he was safe making that claim.
“Yeah, I’d rather you not do that right now.  She’s already looking at us as if we’re alien creatures.  Who knows what she and think of us if you slam into my head into the wall.” Dante returned his attention to the woman at the table.
She glanced up at him.  He stared into the brilliant emerald green of her eyes.  He hadn’t expected to be so drawn to her.  He’d known he would want her physically, but he hadn’t thought he’d want to know everything about her.
“I don’t think that it’s us necessarily.  So many things are being thrown at her right now.  I’m surprised she’s not screaming.  And she doesn’t know the important part, yet.” Cael leaned back against the wall.
“I’m close to screaming. You know what this means.” Dante stared at the group of people over at the table.
“And that’s why I want to slam your head into something.” Cael elbowed him.
They had to leave her here. They had to court her. Her business was in neutral territory. They couldn’t pick her up and take her back to the community. Those fates had really screwed them over.
Do you see writing as a career? Do you write full time? Or in addition to another job?
I see writing as a career and yes, right now, it’s full time.
Do you have any advice to offer other writers?
Keep going. Whether you’re a plotter or a pantser, keep pushing through the restarts and dead ends. Push through to the end. I haven’t ever written a book where I didn’t have at least one part of it that gave me trouble. A crappy first draft can be fixed, but blank pages can’t be.
