Author Bio
Rebecca Airies has always
loved to read. Futuristic, the classics, mystery, horror and of course romance
from sweet to extra spicy--the genre doesn’t matter as long as the stories capture her interest and take her
on an adventure. She soon discovered a love for writing and characters just
waiting to tell their stories. Since that time, writing has become an
obsession.
Rebecca
lives in Abilene, Texas. She loves the outdoors, growing things, and working on
crafts when she’s not
lost in the worlds of her characters.

“I think we all are. Curious, that is.
Especially me after what happened with my tires.” She put her hand over his.
He
glanced down. She touched him so easily, almost as if it was natural. Maybe she
felt the same draw as he did. He took a deep breath. Best not to read too much
into it. He could lose the trust she’d given him if he moved to fast.
“Did you have any trouble with taking off from
work that day?” He
glanced down.
“No, I said I had to file a police report and
get new tires. They were understanding. It helped that I was able to do some of
the stuff from home after we finished. If it became something that happened
again and again, yeah, they’d probably have an issue with it.” Her
fingers brushed across his cheek.
He
leaned into the light touch. She cupped her hand behind his neck before she
grazed her lips over his. The soft flesh brushed back and forth, teasing in a
barely there touch. His lips tingled. The light brush wasn’t
enough. He opened his mouth and nibbled at her lips. Only her sweet taste would
begin to satisfy him.
His
tongue thrust against her lips. She opened for him and her arms slipped around
him. Her breasts pressed against his chest. The hardened nipples prodded
against him even through the fabric of her shirt. His mouth watered. If only
they were both naked. His hand grazed over her hip and up over her ribs. He
cupped his hand over the firm mound.
A
shrill shriek rang through the afternoon air and silenced the birds. Theron
lifted his head and looked around. Children played in the clear field area.
Other people walked around the park or sat on benches. He drew in a shuddering
breath. Fuck. Much more and he would
have slipped his hand into her shirt.
“I didn’t want to stop you.” She
straightened away from him and pulled at the hem of her shirt.
“I didn’t want to stop. It felt so good, but it’s
probably for the best that we were interrupted.” He laced his fingers through hers. Her
softness, her warmth, everything about her drew him.
“Yes, it did. Why don’t we walk back to the car before we forget
where we are again?” He took a deep breath. Pressing her down to the blanket
was not an option here and his resistance to the temptation was iffy at best.
