New Release Tour: Sabotaged Desires by @RebeccaAiries #SciFi #Menage @SensuousPromos @RedSagePublish

Suz Lore thought she had everything she wanted, a job as an engineer and a position on a colony ship headed to another planet. That was before her arranged mĂ©nage marriage with Robert Smith and David Bradford turned into a disaster. She’d thought they were building more than a sizzling sexual relationship, but all they do is argue now. She isn't surprised when they're sequestered in a room in order to reignite the passion between them and learn to trust again. Robert believes she betrayed him while David is stuck in the middle of their conflict. Getting Robert to talk about what made him angry is difficult, but they discover there's far more behind their problems than a message with misleading information. A virus has overtaken the ship's computers, put them on a different heading and cut them off from all communication. They must work together to find a way to survive and rebuild their relationship.

Author Interview

Can you tell us a little bit about where you are from? Originally, I’m from a small town that had about 900 people. As you can imagine, whenever I did anything wrong or was somewhere I shouldn’t be, my parents knew before I arrived home.
When and why did you begin writing? Because I couldn’t not write. The stories were always there, playing out in my head. I had to get them out.
Do you have a specific writing style? In other words, are you a plotter or a pantser? I’m a plotter now, but started as a pantser who knew the beginning and a vague idea of the ending. I’ve found that planning it out allows me to write faster without the backtracking and starting over that I had to do before. That doesn’t mean I don’t get surprised, because with every story I write, the characters come up with some twist I didn’t expect.
Do you write about things similar to your own life experiences? Occasionally, I’ll put in something that I’ve gone through. For example a few of the injuries I’ve given my characters are from personal experience. I’m notorious for spraining my ankles in absolutely normal, nonstrenuous activities. I’m also a little klutzy so when I write a character with that trait. I know what it feels like.
What books have most influenced your life most? (This can be professional or personal life influence) Stephen King’s On Writing. It’s a great book and has some great advice in it.
What are you currently working on? Can you give us a sneak peek?  Well, I’m currently working on revising Touch of the moon. Yes, you can have a sneak peek. Here’s a short snippet.

As Lorelei freed the last man, she looked down at him. He slumped on the ground and appeared weak as a babe. The exhaustion showed in his half closed eyes and the laxity of his muscles. Aside from the weakness, they all looked in good physical shape. She glanced at the man she’d freed. She couldn’t help admiring his excellent physical condition. His black hair hung around his shoulders, mussed. The clothing on his body would have fit into today’s society if he’d been walking around a city. Jeans and a black button down shirt. That shirt hung on his broad shoulders in a way that would have the best tailors jealous. The cloth couldn’t hide the muscle and strength beneath it.

He watched her. His blue eyes followed her slightest move. The man was on guard. He didn’t have the magic power at the moment to fight his way out of wet paper bag, but if she did attack, he’d give it his best.

“Which one of you is Shara’s son?” She tilted her head.

“Why do you want to know?” The man’s eyebrows lowered as he frowned.

“She’s looking for you. You’ve been missing for a while. I was surprised that they’d managed to hold her back this long.” Lorelei knelt at his side. “Are you all right?”

“Yes. Where’s the woman who did this to us? Sylvie Benoit.” He took a deep breath and seemed to be trying to gather his strength.

“She’s dead, but not gone. She was my grandmother.” Lorelei sighed
Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work? My favorite author. That tends to vary depending on what kind of mood I’m in. Lately though, it’s Shelly Laurenston. I love the way she weaves humor into her stories.
What was the hardest part of writing your book(s)? It’s actually the revising and editing phase. I love actually writing them, but the revision and editing sometimes seems more like a drudge. That’s why I usually try to break it up into pieces.
Have you learned anything from writing your book(s)? If so, what was it?  Keep a world notebook that’s as detailed as you can possibly make it and  back up your work in more than one place.
